Solo Honors Performances
We offer the opportunity for students to participate in our Solo Honors Recitals. Their intent is to inspire and motivate other students, parents and teachers by demonstrating good posture, musicianship and careful study. Students of all levels will be considered. All students are invited to audition by sending a DVD (standard format - no “mini-DVD”), videotape (VHS format, US playback system only) or decent quality webcast (YouTube link) of a performance of a well polished and memorized piece with accompaniment if applicable. Audition recording without appropriate piano accompaniment will not be considered.
Application must be postmarked to the Institute by May 31 and videotapes and DVD’s become the property of the Institute. Late applications cannot be accepted. To download an application click here. Please refer to complete instructions on this page when submitting your application and tape.
