Taught by Brigida Lujan, this class will examine the basic fundamentals of flamenco dance including rhythm, counting, principle foot articulations, arm positions, hand work, balance and posture. The students will learn the internationally popular dance "Sevillanas" to be presented at the enrichment class concert. No previous dance experience is necessary. Male and female students seven and up are highly encouraged to take this class. Parents are welcome to participate. Suggested attire: Female students - heeled shoes and a long full skirt and top. Male students - boots pants and shirt. Age 6 and up.
